Rob turned to one of the guards in attendance and said, "Get the War Leader in here, then report back." As the man raced off, Rob offered Reggie a seat and a drink, giving him some time to collect himself. Whatever he had seen in the forest had visibly shaken him. His thoughts drifted to the Leaper two months ago, then promptly shut down that line of thought. It didn't fit at all.
Rob moved about his office, and set his M16 on the desk before donning his Kevlar vest. As he checked to confirm that the breach was clear on his weapon, the door flew open and the War Leader and the guard entered. Rob turned to Reggie and said, "It seems we're all here. What did you see?"
