I'll put up regular updates in here reference the BTS! Combat Program.
At the moment it is based on an EXCEL spreadsheet. Combat will be broken into 3 stages.

1] Stage 1 is long range combat.
2] Stage 2 is Small Craft interception/Strike and Anti Air.
3] Stage 3 is close range attack.

So far I have done stage one.

Now that is cool. Does it reference the same workbook, or does it only reference the same sheet?

Started on Small Craft (Fighter Sqn) combat.
I have broken up Small Craft into 3 deployments/missions
* Interceptors
* Escorts
* Strike

So far I have done Interceptors Vs Escorts/Strike.
Next on the list is Anti Fighter fire from Starships and then the Strike mission against Starships.

Off Topic: How do you post pictures here so I can show you what it looks like so far ?

Either by posting them to a photo hosting site like Photobucket, or the easiest way is to send me the pics in an email and I will post them to my server and then add them to your posts. :AH

Post subject:  saving to a Text file

Ok, it has been a really long time since i worked with file system objects, but... I did get the spreadsheet to save a text file. It has been emailed to both of your emails buddy! If you have any other questions let me know!

PS. the VAlue4 variable is declared but was not used for this demonstration.
