Interesting, but just don't have anyone look for the ship's cat. :bs

You might want to think about using another term instead of Earth Ship though, using it three times in a row is a bit too repetative. Perhaps something like this?

"Put it on the primary viewscreen," Captain Prott ordered. Complying to the order, the officer tapped in a set of commands, and the image on the main screen resolved to show a Battleship class starship. Moving closer to better see the unresponsive vessel, Prott commented "It's definately one of ours*, guessing I'd say it's the Bangkok, it was lost in this area several weeks ago. Continue the hailing messages, but prepare a boarding team, we'll cut our cruise short and bring her back."

Not sure if you wanted comments in the same thread or not, if so perhaps the Thunderer could merge this.

heh, I'll edit that, I was tired and just felt like writing something :bs

Yeah, I'd think you could put it there.

But I don't get the cat thing :AC

I may even add to this tonight, gotta stay up as long as I can, last full night before Christmas break ends.

It's a reference to Alien.

Though the actual line might be from 2010. When they approach the derelict Discovery someone says that no one is to go looking for the ship's cat. At least that's how I remember it, though I might be thinking of something else but I swear it's from 2010.

Edit

Classic scene with everyone on edge and the elevator pings, was expecting everyone to open fire on the elevator. :AE

Oh okay, I haven't seen any of the Alien movies for a while, that wouild explain my ignorance there :bs

That was actually a tribute to Area 51, where a kinda similar scene happens in the first cinematic. :AH
