The World of The Gunny

I know most of you here either hate hack n' slash or don't own consoles, but this game is absolutely the greatest HnS game I've played in years. Tight controls, interesting story lines, 46 characters all with thier own story and stages, and rpg elements such as collecting and eqiuping items and weapons, along with choosing bodyguards teamed up with formulating strategies make this game my favorite ATM. Brilliant.

Venge, does it play somewhat like Diablo 2? Myself, I have nothing against a good H&S, I grew up on Chainmail, and it's child, D&D. The only quibble I have with most are they have no story or reason for the hackin and slashin. Ones that have a good story are not bad at all.

Great story here, and its a little different than Diablo 2. its mainly weapon based combat, with a little tactical ingenuity required. None to much ranged combat with magic or anything, but familiar RPG elements are here, such as leveling up, collecting items, weapons, etc. Its all around a great game.

I love Hack and Slash or good ol' Beat 'em ups.

Dynasty Warriors 5 sounds good. I'll see if I can rent it for my siblings, they have a PS2.

Dynasty Warriors 5 is great if you have the patience to sit and kill 10 guys at a time if ur looking for a new hns go get ur hands on Nighty-Nine-Nights for a grand old time
